Posted on: November 8, 2016[ARCHIVED] Snowfest Celebration

One of the most favorite events held annually in Pembroke Pines is here – Snowfest! Gather your mittens and get ready for holiday cheer on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pines Recreation Center located at 7400 Pines Blvd.
This year, children and parents will have an opportunity to become toy engineers and create holiday themed Snap Ornaments through SNAPology at Santa's Toy Test Lab. The traditional Mrs. Claus' Kitchen will provide healthy snacks for Santa's friends, and children are welcome to sign their names on Santa's Nice List.
Additional highlights during Snowfest include a snow slide and three mounds that equal over 75 tons of snow. There will also be more than 300 performers, dancers and singers on the holiday stage for everyone to enjoy, and a Food Truck Invasion. This year's theme show will be "Zootopia Holiday Show" beginning at 7 p.m. Reindeer Games will continue throughout the day in Santa's Play Yard which includes giant Connect Four games, giant Chess, inflatable rides and new this year, Snowman Speedway Bumper Cars.
The fee is $2 per person with children under 2 years free. Please remember to bring your mittens to play in the snow. For more information, call 954-392-2116 or visit www.ppines.com/specialevents.
