Parents who re-enroll by March 10, 2023 will be awarded one volunteer service hour per student. Applicants will be notified via email of the lottery results soon after the open enrollment period ends.
The Pembroke Pines Charter School System’s Center for Autism is also accepting applications for its elementary program. Located on the City of Pembroke Pines Florida State University (FSU) Charter Elementary School campus, it provides an academic and social skills setting for children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Small group settings are provided to individualize the needs of each child with an emphasis on curriculum standards, social skills, and sensory processing. The class is taught by a certified teacher with additional support staff. The school’s Center for Autism enhances each student’s ability to mainstream to a least restrictive environment within the school campus.
