The City of Pembroke Pines continues to monitor any and all storms throughout the Atlantic this Hurricane Season which ends November 30th, including Tropical Storm Nicole. 11/8/22: Due to Tropical Storm Nicole, Broward Schools and District offices (Pembroke Pines Charter Schools) will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, November 9. All before and after-school activities are canceled, including field trips and night classes. Aftercare will not be available.
In addition, the Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center will be closed and all Senior and Community Bus routes will be cancelled on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
Due to inclement weather, the Community Meeting hosted by Commissioner Iris A. Siple that was scheduled for Wednesday, November 9th at the Pembroke Pines Charter West Campus is cancelled and will be rescheduled.
