City of Pembroke Pines Utility customers will soon notice a new and improved Utility Billing System is being used to allow for accounts to be easily accessed and managed, and enhance the customer experience. This change is the result of the City’s efforts to provide world class services, and in response to the community’s need for convenience, transparency, simplicity and flexibility. What changes will you notice? In the coming months, customers will see an enhanced full page monthly utility bill. There will also be an updated on-line customer experience provided with the introduction of the CITIZEN SELF-SERVICE (CSS) portal where customers can sign-up for easy and convenient access to their Utility account information 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. This portal will give customers the opportunity to review monthly consumption, billing and financial history, pay their bill, sign up for auto-pay, print bills and much more.
In addition, by updating the City’s software, there will be a more secure, state-of-the-art solution for the City to continue to monitor, report, and manage all aspects of City government. The City is working with Tyler Technologies in launching this Citywide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. In the coming months the Utilities Department will provide everything customers will need to know for a smooth transition such as when the transition begins, how to read the new Utility bill, where to locate a new utility account number, how to sign up for CSS and much more.
