The 5th Annual Veterans Employment Expo will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus, located at 301 NW 103 Ave. The event will open to the public at noon. More than 50 employers and 15 service agencies are expected to participate in this year’s Veterans Employment Expo. The 5th Annual Veterans Employment Expo is an extension of the City of Pembroke Pines Re-Energize and Re-Connect Initiative, whose goal is to provide resources and housing at the R & R Village Veterans Housing, located on the Howard C. Forman Services Campus, for Active and Honorably Discharged Members of the military.
