Everyone is welcome to participate in a Walking Audit in the City of Pembroke Pines on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.. The walk will help the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) evaluate University Drive from County Line to Taft Street, provide a community perspective and help identify ways to improve this corridor. The meeting location is the Howard Forman Health Park at 1101 Poinciana Drive, Studio 18, in Pembroke Pines. The walking distance will be approximately one mile with water and snacks provided. This is an outdoor event, so please be sure to wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes.
