To support our community and with the prediction of heavy rains from approaching storms, free sandbags are now being distributed at the below location today (Tuesday, October 8) from 8:00 am until 4 pm. Residents must be in carline by 3:30 pm. Limit 5 bags per household, proof of Pembroke Pines residency is required. Residents are required to fill their own bags; City will supply sand, bags, and shovels. Assistance will be provided to the elderly and persons with disabilities.
