New Mural at City Center

Local artist Ivan Roque has been selected to produce a new mural titled “The Spirit of Us”, a conceptual representative of diversity and community. The mural highlights three native creatures from different aspects of life, the Florida panther (land), the Roseate spoonbill (air) and the manatee (sea). The flower selection used for this piece represent inclusivity of cultures coming together in a melting pot that we call our home, South Florida. The hibiscus, orchid, bougainvillea, bird of paradise and the orange blossom are the representative flowers.
