Understanding and knowledge of the following:
A. Financial/Investment Knowledge
- Investment Principals
- Financial Markets/Capital Markets
- CFA, CFP, CPA, CAIA, CIMA or similar type of certifications/credentials are preferred
- Ability to review and understand financial reports and fund performance
- Understanding of asset allocation
- Experience in finance, investment management, trust administration, etc.
B. Pension Plan Knowledge
- Fiduciary Obligations (best interest of pension plan participants)
- Pension Plan Structures
- Ability to read and understand actuarial reports
C. Personal Characteristics/Obligations
- Time to attend monthly meetings
- Time to attend training seminars as necessary
