Yes. The City has an exclusive franchise agreement with Waste Pro for all construction and demolition debris, which means residents and businesses may not contract with any other hauler for this service. However, if you own and use your own equipment or roll-off containers, you may utilize those instead.

- Contractors who own their own roll-off containers may use them.
- Contractors who do not own containers must contract with Waste Pro.
- Hiring third-party haulers is not permitted.

- Using an unauthorized hauler or container is a violation of City Code/Law.
- Violators may be subject to Code Compliance enforcement, including warnings, fines, and potential legal action.
- Property owners may also be held responsible for non-compliance at their job site.

If you observe a contractor, business, or resident using unauthorized waste haulers or roll-off containers, you should report it to the City’s Code Compliance Unit in the following ways:
- During office hours (Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM):
- Call the City’s Code Compliance Unit at (954) 431-4466 or email code_compliance@ppines.com
- On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (7:00 AM–5:30 PM):
- Call (954) 303-6324.

- File a complaint through the City’s SeeClickFix application
Important: Pursuant to Senate Bill 60 (effective July 1, 2021), the City can no longer investigate anonymous complaints. All Code Compliance complaints must include your full name and address.
