Pembroke Pines, FL (September 30, 2019) - Military veterans of the United States are invited to attend and take part in the Fifth Annual Employment Expo, for both active and retired duty personnel, tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus located at 301 NW 103^rd Avenue in Pembroke Pines (off Johnson Street, one block west of Palm Avenue).  The Veterans Employment Expo will be open to the general public starting at noon.
 
This expo is a great opportunity for veterans to meet directly with hiring managers in Pembroke Pines, from a variety of businesses and organizations.

Lastly, the annual Veterans Employment Expo is an addition to the City of Pembroke Pines Re-Energize and Re-Connect Initiative.  The main purpose is to offer both housing and resources at the R & R Village, located on the Howard C. Forman Services Campus, for members of the United States military that are either active or have been honorably discharged.
