Pembroke Pines, FL…November 29, 2017.... Artists are invited to apply to the Twentieth Annual ARTFEST in the PINES presented by the City of Pembroke Pines and Artserve.  ARTFEST in the Pines takes place on March 10^th and 11^th 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, at the City of Pembroke Pines Charles F. Dodge City Center, 601 City Center Way. Please visit www.ppines.com/artfest or call 954-986-5027 or 392-2122 for additional information.

Artists may download an ARTFEST in the Pines application at www.ppines.com/artfest . Artists interested in entering please note December 30, 2017 is the deadline for early submission and discounted fees. Prize money in the amount of $4,500 will be awarded, $1,000 for Best in Show and $350 for Best in Category. The event will take place rain or shine.  

Juried Artist information:

Artists must be 18 years or older to participate.
Artists will be notified of their acceptance via e-mail after January 31, 2018.
Artists approved prior to February 3, 2018 will be include in the commemorative ARTFEST in the Pines booklet.  Please read the application for details regarding ARTFEST in the Pines booth set up and breakdown.
Juried Artists who apply prior to December 30, 2017 will benefit from discounted Festival fees. The deadline for all applications is March 2, 2018 

Festival fees include round the clock security and the Artist Awards Dinner.

• Fees for Applications postmarked by December 30, 2017:  Jury Fee of $20 per piece, to be accompanied by three high-resolution photos of art work and one booth photo all labeled with artists name and contact information. Booth space and fee: 10’ x 10’ / $125 or 10’ x 20’ / $225.
  

• Fees for Applications postmarked after December 31, 2017: Jury Fee $30 per piece, to be accompanied by three high-resolution photos of artwork and one booth photo all labeled with artists name and contact information. Booth space and fee: 10’ x 10’ / $175 or 10’ x 20’ / $325. Artists may drop off their signed application to Fletcher Art and Culture Center, 7960 Johnson Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024 along with two checks  (jury fee and booth space fee) made payable to The City of Pembroke Pines.

Admission and Parking are free.

Festival Hours 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days
For sale will be unique and fine arts in such mediums as Drawing, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Digital Art, Painting, Fine Handcrafts, Photography, Wood, Glass and Three-Dimensional Sculpture.
Entertainment, food trucks, live hands-on demonstrations, a Student Art Competition, a Farmers Market, a Kids Art Zone, Children and Adult workshops at The Frank Art Gallery and much more.
