Bow Wow Ween & Miss Bow Wow Ween 2017 Contest - October 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Pembroke Pines Dog Park, 9751 Johnson Street (just east of Palm Avenue). The Fifth Annual Bow Wow Ween is free and is the ultimate Halloween party for dogs and their owners. Events include dog games, pet vendors, promo items, and a raffle for those who register at the event. The highlight of the day is the dog costume contest. Register in any of the following categories: Best Family Costume, Funniest Costume, Scariest Costume, Cutest Costume, Most Original Costume or Miss Bow Wow Ween. Winners will be presented awards. The winner of Miss BOW WOW WEEN 2017 will be awarded to one pretty pup wearing her best gown. Miss BOW WOW WEEN will receive a crown and sash along with a prize basket valued at over $100.00. BOO-VILLE, October 28, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Pines Recreation Center, 7400 Pines Boulevard. Tickets go on sale at 4:00 p.m. Per person event fee is $2.00. Enjoy a Spooktacular time at BOO-VILLE, a family friendly event with a costume contest; pumpkin patches with hidden prizes, rides, trick or treat stations, moonlight movies, spooky hollow-day activities and The Food Truck Invasion! Jazz in the Pines Concert, October 22, 2017 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. The Free Concert features “Cachi and his Salsa Band.”. Due to Hurricane damage the concert location may be changed from William B. Armstrong Dream Park, 1700 NW 160 Avenue (Dykes Road). Information regarding a confirmed location will be announced. Enjoy a free and relaxing afternoon, and for comfort bring a chair or blanket. Veterans Day Ceremony, November 11, 2017, begins at 12noon.Pembroke Pines Charles F. Dodge City Center Memorial Park, 601 City Center Way. Make time to honor the men and women of the United States Military. The ceremony includes the presentation of colors and guest speakers; hot dogs and refreshments will be served at the conclusion. SnowFest, December 2, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Charles F. Dodge City Center, 601 City Center Way, Pembroke Pines, FL 33025. Featuring 75 tons of snow. SnowFest free holiday fun includes visits with Santa, face painting, rides, games, arts and crafts, children’s holiday performances, musical entertainment, and the Food Truck Invasion. Santa’s Holiday Hotline
Registration Deadline December 15, 2017.
Santa will call pre-registered Pembroke Pines children who are ten years and younger between December 19, 2017 and December 21, 2017 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Parents simply download the free Santa’s Holiday Hotline form at www.ppines.com and return the completed form to Santa’s Holiday Hotline c/o City of Pembroke Pines, 601 City Center Way, Pembroke Pines, FL 33025. Sundaes with Santa, Tickets go on sale November 16, 2017. Ticket required to enter Sundaes with Santa will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Enjoy holiday magic, visits with Santa, entertainment, arts and crafts and Ice Cream Sundaes. Held at the Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center, 301 NW 103 Avenue. Per-person Fee regardless of age is $6.00 for Pembroke Pines residents and/or $8.00 for non-residents. No Pets.
