Hurricane Debris

Ongoing Removal
The City of Pembroke Pines began the removal process of all household garbage, recycling, bulk and hurricane debris the week of September 11, 2017 and it continues throughout the City.  Please do not block storm debris with vehicles, or place it within three feet of any mailbox, basketball goal, fence, general landscaping, etc.  As usual regular household trash and recyclables should be placed in their respective green and blue bins.

Insure your debris is removed:  Residents interested in a prompt and thorough Hurricane Debris removal should place their debris curbside and per FEMA* regulation separate debris into specific piles:  Vegetative Hurricane Debris:  logs, plants, tree branches and/or Non-Vegetative Hurricane Debris: fences, roof material, screening, etc.

*FEMA requires residents to separate storm hurricane debris from vegetative storm debris (trees, branches etc.), placing them in separate piles, because the debris is taken to different disposal sites.
