Pembroke Pines Fourth of July Celebration
Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Pines Recreation Center Festival Grounds, 7400 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines. Wear the colors of the day red, white and blue. Enjoy free children’s rides, game booths, arts and crafts projects, slides, bounce houses, and more. Dance to the music of the band Entourage from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Enjoy great food from the Food Truck Invasion, hot dogs, hamburgers, and much more. The spectacular Fourth of July Pembroke Pines Fireworks show begins at 9:00 p.m. NO Pets, coolers, or personal fireworks are permitted on the Festival Grounds. The Patriot Day, September 11, 2017 Remembrance Ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Pembroke Pines City Center Memorial Pavilion, 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines. Make time to remember and honor the fallen. Ceremony includes Presentation of Colors, remarks by Pembroke Pines Mayor Frank C. Ortis and Commissioners, patriotic music. Questions? Jazz in the Pines Concert
Free Sunday Concert held weather permitting on September 24, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the William B. Armstrong Dream Park located at 1700 NW 160 Avenue (Dykes Road). Please note time change. Enjoy great music while relaxing at this beautiful Pembroke Pines Park. For maximum comfort, bring a blanket and chair. No pets allowed at the event. Bow Wow Ween
October 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Pembroke Pines Dog Park, 9751 Johnson Street (just east of Palm Avenue). Now in its fifth year Bow Wow Ween the free Halloween party for dogs and their owners includes a dog costume contest, dog games, pet vendors and a raffle for those who register the day of the event. Costume Contest Categories: Miss Bow Wow Ween, Best Family Costume, Funniest Costume, Scariest Costume, Cutest Costume, Most Original Costume and Awards Presentation. Questions? Miss BOW WOW WEEN 2017
Dress your favorite furry princess in her best gown and bring her to the BOW WOW WEEN Event to compete for the title of MISS BOW WOW WEEN 2017. Winner will receive a crown and sash along with a prize basket valued at over $100.00. Additional prizes will be released closer to the pageant. Enjoy a Spooktacular time at BOO-VILLE, a family friendly event with a costume contest; pumpkin patches with hidden prizes, rides, trick or treat stations, moonlight movies, spooky hollow-day activities and The Food Truck Invasion! November 11, 2017 at 12noon at the Pembroke Pines Charles F. Dodge City Center Memorial Pavilion, 601 City Center Way. Make time to honor the men and women of the United States Military. The ceremony includes the presentation of colors and guest speakers; hot dogs and refreshments will be served at the conclusion. No pets. Santa’s Holiday Hotline
Free for Pembroke Pines children 10 years and younger who have been pre-registered by their parents. Santa will call pre-registered child(ren) sometime between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. between December 19 through December 21, 2017. SnowFest
The fun takes place on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 4:00 to 8: 00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, 601 City Center Way, Pembroke Pines, FL 33025. Featuring 75 tons of snow. SnowFest free holiday fun includes visits with Santa, face painting, rides, games, arts and crafts, children’s holiday performances, musical entertainment, and the Food Truck Invasion. Sundaes with Santa
Enjoy holiday magic, visits with Santa, entertainment, arts and crafts and Ice Cream Sundaes. Tickets go on sale November 16, 2017 for Sundaes with Santa, held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Southwest Focal Point Community Center, 301 NW 103 Avenue.
