People 60 years and older will participate in the Seventh Annual Senior Spelling BEE hosted by the City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus located at 301 N.W. 103rd Avenue. The popular and friendly spelling competition begins at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 and cash prizes are awarded to the First Place, Second Place and Third Place winners! A Webster's Dictionary will be consulted via laptop for definitions and sentences. 

"We recommend contestants cozy up to their favorite edition of Webster's Dictionary for the next few weeks," said Helen Daniels, Recreation Division Supervisor at The Center.
