Pembroke Pines Residents Enjoy
A Hopping Good Time at
Sundaes with the Bunny

(High resolution jpegs available upon request)

Pembroke Pines, FL...April 12, 2017 Springtime was in full swing for children and adults attending the City of Pembroke Pines annual Sundaes with the Bunny at the Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus. A springtime bunny patch festooned with balloons and stuffed animals greeted guests who arrived ready to have a fun and enjoy eating ice cream with lots of different toppings. Children alternately worked up an appetite, then worked off the sugar as they danced, played games and posed for photos with two life-sized bunnies.

The Bunnies were happy to see lots of hopping, especially down the sundae-topping lane where children had so many choices of yummy toppings, each one better than the next. “This is one of our favorite events. The children have so much fun, our volunteers are so helpful and Rob from Superstar Productions gets everyone involved. You can’t help but smile when you see children, parents, grandparents on the dance floor moving to the hokey pokey and the chicken dance!” said Francie Novo, Special Events Coordinator for Pembroke Pines Recreation and Cultural Arts Department.
