Florida Talks - Seminole Portraits: Reflections Across Time
Pembroke Pines, FL (October 14, 2025) – Join the City of Pembroke Pines to celebrate Native American Heritage Month with Seminole Portraits: Reflections Across Time on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 6-7 pm at the Commission Chambers, located at 601 City Center Way.
Exhibition Details
The City of Pembroke Pines will partner with Florida Humanities to present a quarterly lecture series inspired by monthly cultural celebrations, aiming to educate, engage, and spark meaningful dialogue within the local community.
In this engaging lecture folklorist Dr. Annette B. Fromm focuses on portraiture over time to tell the rich history and continued vitality of the Florida Seminoles. This talk is free and open to the public, no registration needed. Recommended for ages 18+.
