Pembroke Pines, FL (December 23, 2024) -- Join the City of Pembroke Pines in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way.

Event Details 

Visitors will enjoy a morning filled with poetry, speeches, and performances honoring a man who had a dream. Local officials will pay tribute to Dr. King and winners of the Martin Luther King Jr. Poetry Contest will recite their poetry at the ceremony. There will be a special performance by “The Voices of Liberty” of Spirit of Life Ministries from 11 AM to Noon. A RISE and SHINE light breakfast will also be served as everyone celebrated kindness, acceptance and compassion together on this special day.
