Pembroke Pines, FL (November 7, 2024) – Save the date for the “Studio 18 Artist Takeover Celebration: Open Studios, Workshops and Reception” being held on Saturday, November 16 from 3 PM- 7 PM at the Studio 18 Art Complex, located at 1101 Poinciana Drive. This special event is a dynamic fusion of open studios, hands-on workshops, and a lively reception, all coming together for a night of art, creativity, and community.

Everyone is welcome to explore the exhibition, which showcases a diverse array of works from talented resident artists, spanning painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and more. The show delves into themes of identity, memory, and transformation, offering a glimpse into the unique creative journeys of each artist.

Art Workshops

Open Studios & Workshops: Visitors can wander through the artist studios and take part in free workshops led by resident artists; learn to create realistic textures in drawing; or craft their own affirmation collage, all while discovering the inspiration behind the works in the exhibition.

There is no pre-registration for workshops, all workshops are on a first come, first serve basis.

Affirmation Collage Workshops with Daniel Marosi: 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM
Realistic Texture Drawing Workshops with Tito Padilla: 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM
Exhibition Reception and Celebration with DJ Garry Gore: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
