Pembroke Pines, FL (October 5, 2021) - The time of year is rapidly approaching for your pets to break out their best costumes for the City of Pembroke Pines annual Bow Wow Ween on Saturday October 9, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Pembroke Pines K-9 Officer Craig Rupp Dog Park located at 9751 Johnson Street (just east of Palm Avenue). The event is pet friendly and free of charge to attend.
Bow Wow Ween is the ultimate Halloween party for dogs and their owners. Contestants can show how scary, creative, mysterious or spooky their dogs can be to win prizes. In addition to the costume contest for all sizes and different categories, there will be games, prizes, and pet related vendors. For the costume contest, walk-ins are welcome or applications can be completed in advance to participate. Categories include Best Family Costume, Funniest Costume, Scariest Costume, Cutest Costume and Most Original Costume. Miss Bow Wow Ween 2021 will also be crowned on this special day. The winner will receive a crown and sash, along with a prize basket valued at over $100.
