Pembroke Pines, FL – (August 31, 2021) There were 42 members of the 60 plus crowd, both men and women, who tried out for a roster spot on the Miami HEAT world renown Golden Oldies Dance Team, however, only 21 were awarded the coveted title of Golden Oldie at the end of the day. They all brought their best dance moves, shook and swirled during auditions at the City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus in Pembroke Pines.
Both veterans and rookies of the squad arrived to the audition dressed to impress the judges sporting the Miami HEAT team colors of white, red and black. The competition was on fire as the potential new team members of the Golden Oldies learned routines, grooved to the music and demonstrated their different dance moves to win over the decision makers.
