Remembrance Prayer Vigil

Pembroke Pines, FL (January 29, 2020) -  Please join The City of Pembroke Pines residents, guests and friends in a remembrance prayer vigil to commemorate the two-year mark of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting tragedy at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.  The event is free and everybody is invited to attend a day of honor in service and love. 
The ceremony honors the 17 members of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, both staff and students that lost their lives, and acknowledges the strength and recovery of the staff, students and families who survived. 
The program will include light music, prayer and a candlelight ceremony. Pembroke Pines Mayor Frank C. Ortis has been invited to open the prayer.  The event will be conducted by both Pastor Peter Tokar of The Bridge Church, Shaikh Mohamed and Father Jeff.
