Legal Notices for Business Impact Statements

(Ordinances)


Effective October 1, 2023, Section 166.041, F.S., requires a Business Impact Statement (“BIS”) to be prepared along with certain ordinances that impact the operations of local businesses. This section mandates that the BIS be published on the City’s website and contain certain information, including the purpose of the proposed ordinance, as well as the estimated economic impact on businesses and compliance costs. Any proposed ordinance of the City of Pembroke Pines affected by this legislation will be posted on the Business Impact Estimates page. Click Here.
