The Pembroke Pines City Commission meets every first and third Wednesday of the month (except for July), and may call special meetings or workshops for matters that may require intense discussion.
Agendas
The meeting agenda with all backups is made available on the City’s website on Thursday night before the meeting. For example, the June 19 meeting agenda would be available on June 13.
Meeting Highlights
With only two exceptions, all meetings of the City Commission must take place in a public forum and the public is always encouraged to attend in person, view the meeting live on the City’s Pines Media channel or our website, or later on the Meeting Spotlight webpage.
Exceptions
The only two occasions where the City Commission may meet in private with the City Manager and City Attorney include: executive sessions to discuss labor bargaining, and shade sessions to discuss pending litigation. Exemptions pursuant to 447.605
